About us
With over 15 years of experience and knowledge in different ranges of hydraulic areas acquired from his work on Humet group, Julio Marco decided in 1979 to try selling his own designed range of irrigation products under the commercial name “PROSUR”. In this early years of activity his new own pivot’s software was created to help his clients with the management of their center and lateral pivots and supplying all the products needed to achieve greater water use efficiency. Under this premise, the company began exporting its own sprinklers with a great acceptance in the international market. This increase of sales made possible to set up Unirain, S.A., in 1986, which continued increasing its market share.
In 1994 Unirain started its international expansion with a particularly strong presence in many European countries as France, Italy, Greece and Portugal, and in markets like U.S.A., South Africa or Australia, among others.
The Unirain company profile is a SME with a strong commitment to the quality design of irrigation products: agricultural sprinklers, air release valves and Center Pivot irrigation emitters manufactured 100% in Spain by efficient and environmentally friendly processes which satisfy the requirements of the market and the expectations of its customers. This, along with an almost immediate delivery service and a customized technical support, provide added value to our company and make us a trusted manufacturer allowing to grow and open up new markets as we have been doing over the last years.
